Theme – After Babel, God chose Abraham and his descendants to be God’s people on earth. Through Abraham’s descendants — Israel — the earth would be blessed. They were, so to speak, God’s missionary people in the world. This wasn’t a bad solution, but it wasn’t God’s final solution.
