Six members of Northminster’s Heritage Choir will be participating in a multi-church hymn festival called “Hymns Ancient and Modern, A Festival of the Church’s Song”. This program will be held on Monday, February 4th at 7:30 p.m.. This event is sponsored by the San Diego Christian College, at their Lower Campus Chapel located at 2100 Greenfield Dr., in El Cajon, near the Shadow Mountain Community Church.

The festival will feature pipe organ, piano, brass and handbells in a worship celebration for audience participation, directed by John Howard, Director of Music at Ascension Lutheran Church.

Admission is free and everyone is invited to attend and support our choir members!

Souper Bowl Sunday is coming up THIS Sunday, February 3rd, and we are collecting donations that will go to support the Presbyterian Urban Ministries Crisis Center as well as the 350 food bag donations supplied by the Cristian Community Service Agency in our community . Please contribute to this worthy effort by bring donations of the following items with you to church this Sunday!

Please donate Canned Soup, Pasta Sauce, Ravioli, Vegetables, Fruit, Tuna, Dry Rice, Beans, Pasta, Top Ramen and Powdered Milk.
