This is the ninth sermon in the series titled “Acts in 3 Acts: Act 2”.
Theme – There’s no question—human beings love to be recognized for their accomplishments. We love to hear words of praise and appreciation. But when Barnabas and Paul were mistaken as gods after healing a lame man, they immediately pointed to the living God from whom their power came. In so doing, they weren’t being spiritual; they were being realistic. And when we begin to recognize that everything we have comes from God, we, also, are simply being realistic.
The text for the sermon was taken from Acts 14:8-18.
