This the sixth sermon in the series titled “Kickin’ It Old School”.
Theme – We tend to think of the people in the Old Testament as some kind of spiritual giants. Absolutely not the case! Especially when we look at Jacob. Jacob was a liar, a cheater, an opportunist, a scoundrel. And, yet, he is the one chosen by God to receive the blessing and be the child of promise through whom Abraham’s descendants would become a blessing to the nations. Why would God choose someone like Jacob? Good question. But if God can choose someone like Jacob, he can sure choose someone like you!
