Theme – What are we supposed to do when we’re frustrated and angry at life? Or when we’re frustrated and angry with God? Should we bury our feelings and put a plastic smile on our face? Or is God looking for something more genuine? The story of Jacob wrestling with God clears the way for the possibility of our wrestling—struggling—with God. In fact, it’s in the struggling that we discover a genuine encounter with the God who created us!
