At Northminster, we seek nothing more than to follow Jesus. Jesus Christ is at the center of all that we are and all that we do.

We are discovering together what it means to be God’s people in San Diego at the beginning of the 21st century. Our desire is to discover what God is doing in our community and then join God in what God is doing.

• To be incarnational in our approach to ministry within our culture and community.
• To be open to being transformed by Christ from a religious organization into a living organism willing to be creative and to make adjustments in order to reach out to our culture and community.
• To place a greater value on people than on programs, on love than on practices, on innovation than on tradition, and on faith than on fear.

We are a church of people whose desire is to fully become the people God intended for us to be. We are on a journey of discovery, of service, and of faith.
