My name is Rebecca and I work with many youth pastors in the San Diego area. I just wanted to let you know how much I appriciate your work with the young people in the area. I know youth ministry is not always the funnest job- especially when it feels like your talking to a brick wall. Let me encourage you, your work with them makes a world of diffrence.

I am soooo excited about the small groups that are getting started up. Our Wednesday Night Bible Study of Daniel just finished up, and to celebrate, our group went to Chili’s to have dinner together. During that time, I realized what great friends we had all become through the course of the study. We must have talked for 2 hours about our relationships, books, funny stories, the experience of Daniel, ect. The conversation (and eating) just kept going and going. I pray that during this upcoming small groups session, I will get to know some other Northminsters even better, so that our family will grow stronger. I just know it will happen, anyway. Let’s go Small Groups!!!

I would like to thank all the volunteers who gave up their vacations and family time to help NPC do this wonderful community outreach for Clairemont. I had the priviledge of working in the kitchen with a tremendous crew. They kept all the children and crews fed and the kitchen spic and span. Thank you Derick, Winnie, Dutch, Gerre and Darlene you are the greatest. Thank you parents for letting us enjoy your children all week, this was the best year ever!! Special thanks to Shannon and all her volunteers, we could not of done it with all your help and support. Thank you Northminster family for all your time, donations, food, and talent you truly are a blessing to Clairemont. God loves you all and I do too. See you next year.

Markus, this was a great sermon, it really hit home. As the older generation we do have a responsibility to shepherd our younger flock. We have a tremendous pre-school and VBS program established, through these seeds we have an awesome potential to grow this church into the next generation!

The preschool has been such an amazing thing to our family this year! It has provided a “home away from home” for our son, he has come home with beautiful artwork, incredible stories, and some friendships that he speaks of daily! And for a three year old to speak of ANYTHING more than once a day is phenomenal! Anytime I have entered the gates of the school I have been greeted with a warm, heart-felt hello and better yet, our son has been welcomed with open arms! I admire the Northminster Preschool and it’s entire staff for their dedication to excellence. Thank you for all that you have done for Micah this year… and thank you for being a part of the Northminster church family as well!

This is AWSOME! Chelsea started lunch clubs at UC and Madison High Schools this year and they have far exceeded all expectations. We have kids from the Madison lunch club going to YoungLife camp this summer for the first time and will have the best experience of their lives. Now we have a new lunch club in a middle school that again exceeded expectations. A big THANK YOU to Ina Soliz who sponsored our on-campus lunch club and to Robert who asked. This is another example of how succesful the youth outreach Ministry at NPC is working!
